The Perfect Darkness

How Window Tint Darkness Works
When people arrive at our shop in sarasota for their tint appointment, we've noticed that most people arent sure what darkness they want. In fact, most people arent even familiar with how the options work at all. The darkness of window tint is described in a VLT (Visable Light Transmission) percentage. Basically, the percentage of the window film is saying how much light it will let throught. The lower the percentage is, the darker the tint will be and vise versa. The image below is an example of what you can expect the different options of tint to look like.

Sarasota's #1 Choice
At our shop, we have a display board on the wall with all the different options of tint layed out next to each other. This way our customers are able to see these options in a real world scenario to decide what they think they like best. By far, the most popular option among the residents of Sarasota is 20%. This seems to be the perfect medium between being too light and too dark. This is also how dark the factory windows are on the rear half of suvs and trucks so tinting the front windows in this darkness will allow everything to match.
